Looking to inspire and challenge innovators, developers, creators, and entrepreneurs in New York's Tech Valley and beyond, HackRPI’s 7th annual 24-hour hackathon will help attendees develop their skills, explore new technologies, and turn their curiosities and visions into opportunities.
Eligibility
If you are over 18 or a college student, you are eligible to attend HackRPI.
If you attended and hacked at HackRPI, you are eligible to make a submission.
Teams cannot be larger than 4 people to qualify for HackRPI's prizes.
Requirements
For all prizes, we are requiring short video submissions as it is important to have a backup in case you are unable to demo due to WiFi issues. We will be having judging in the judging server where you would be able to demo your project. Check the Starter Kit email for more details!
For the IBM Tracks, Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability, and Public Health and Pandemic Response, all submissions to these two tracks require the use of at least 1 IBM service or API. Use of any other open source technologies in addition to the 1 IBM service or API is allowed and encouraged.
Here is a list of possible technologies (https://cloud.ibm.com/catalog#services)
Note: Hackers only have access to services under the 'lite' tier and should be able to access that list without creating an IBM Cloud account. Hackers can use this link: https://ibm.biz/BdqTuq to register for a free cloud account.
